 ALTAVISTA AREA YMCA: FITNESS PROGRAMS

Fitness ProgramsThe Altavista Area YMCA offers Wellness programs and facilities for every member of the family. The Wellness Center is equipped with the most up to date equipment on the market and is managed by a knowledgeable and courteous staff. New members are given a detailed orientation upon joining the YMCA and fitness programs are updated throughout the year by the fitness center staff. Since each participant has different goals, workouts are tailored to meet the expectations of the individual member. The amount of equipment available allows members to always have easy access to the machines and the wide variety of equipment keeps the workouts from becoming work. In addition to the Wellness Center the Athletic Center houses an indoor track, gymnasium and racquetball court to better meet your wellness needs. The Family Center rounds out the fitness facilities at the Y. with a junior Olympic indoor swimming pool and three Premier tennis courts.
